What customers say?

“ The rice roll is freshly made to order, the ingredients were fresh and you can customize by adding an egg or choose a different sauce. This is our 1st visit, the nice lady taking our order suggested to put the sauce on the side which is a great idea because we love both the sauce. The mushroom garlic sauce is much more savory but not too overwhelming. The sweet soy sauce is sweeter, similar to the style at dim sum places. Our party speaks Cantonese while other diners spoke Mandarin. The rice roll not only tastes a lot better than Yin Ji Chang Fen, but the portion is also bigger and greater value. Parking is super easy at this plaza, there is also handicap parking as well. While we were dining there were several other patrons who came in to pick up food. This place lets you order ahead as well. ”

“ Surprisingly big portions — 2 rice roll plates and a bowl of braised beef soup was almost too much food for my partner and I. Tasty, though for the quality I feel like it’s priced $1-$2 too much, but I guess that’s just how it is these days. I enjoyed the beef noodle roll the most. If I’m craving rice noodle rolls, I would go again. ”

“ Especially love the service here in addition to freshly steamed rice noodle rolls/rice rolls/cheung fun. I feel like these are less popular here right now, but they're very popular in NYC where we moved from. We missed them and decided to try them here since Mr. Champion was disappointing. We tried both beef and shrimp and added egg. They're very thin unlike traditional dim sum ones with good texture and are made fresh to order. Tried pork knuckle cha siu/bbq pork rice and curry fish balls also. It's a small spot, but I hope they'll do well and be around for a long time! ”

“ My hidden gem in the area! Must-order: beef rice roll. As someone who was born and raised in Guangdong, China. I can say this with confidence, yes this is be best rice roll you can find in the SGV/ Rowland Heights area. The dessert was also packed with nutrition and they are not petty about the portions. Will be coming back on a regular basis. ”

“ Free parking in their parking lot. It's on 2nd floor, there is elevator and stair right in front of their entrance. Very simple, spacious airy space. You order via tappet, the server is nice and friendly with a smile. Foods are tasty, well make, fresh, make to order, excellent, big portion at a very reasonable price. Order 9 portions (including the milk tea) | with 15% tip for $67 total. Not bad at all. Saw the noodle soup, it is huge bowl and for 2 people for sure. Will come back for that and others. Love my suimal, it just delish. ”

“ Great HK food place. Nice quick eat and go without dim sum restaurant hassle. Service is good since the restaurant is small and more attentive service. Small restaurant with only 7 to 8 tables. ”

“ Pretty decent branch Chinese restaurant. Prices are decent for congee and noodles but chengfei is a little bit pricey. Service is alright but food comes out quick. The quality of food is very good especially the seafood congee. Chengfei is pretty good as well, and it's freshly made. Mushroom Shu Mai is decent and big. Probably coming back for congee and other items next time, and recommend people who want something cozy for breakfast or lunch here. ”

“ I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, and the food quality has stayed consistently good over time. The prices aren’t exactly cheap, but the portions are generous. For Los Angeles, their rice noodle rolls are definitely among the better ones you can find. That said, a word of caution—always try to park your car somewhere visible, and never leave any valuables inside. Otherwise, your window—or your belongings—might be gone when you get back. This goes for any nearby parking spots too. Be careful. ”
